Order Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions of sale apply to all products supplied by Ewe Design (the ‘supplier’), 21 Middlewood Park, Livingston EH54 8AZ.

By entering into a transaction either via this website directly with Ewe Design or ordering by email you (the ‘client’) agree to these terms and conditions. The client’s statutory rights will not be affected by these terms and conditions.

Stationery production

As all our stationery is individually hand crafted, not every item will be identical and there may be some slight variation. This will, however, be minimal.

Production of stationery is subject to the availability of raw materials, some of which are imported from USA. In the event that the required raw materials are not available, an appropriate alternative shall be sourced wherever possible, subject to agreement with the client. If the alternative is not acceptable, a full refund shall be granted.

Ewe Design cannot accept responsibility for incorrect information provided by the client, eg incorrect name spellings (see ‘proof approval’).

Proof Approval

Proofs of all insert text for birth announcement cards will be emailed to the client for approval prior to printing. Crafting of cards will not begin until approval is received (by e-mail or telephone).

Minimum Order

There is a no minimum order value.

Prices

Prices shown in the Ewe Design price list are correct at the time of publication and may be subject to change without prior notice. Any price increase will not impact on confirmed orders.

Ewe Design makes every effort to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time the client places their order. If an error is found, the supplier will inform the client as soon as possible and offer the option of reconfirming the order at the correct price, or cancelling the order. If the supplier does not receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing the client of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If the client cancels, the supplier will refund or re-credit any sum that has been paid by the client.

Prices include printed inserts (where applicable) and envelopes.

Ordering and Payment

To secure the order, payment in full and proof approval (see above) will be required before work commences on the client’s order.

Paypal receipts will automatically be issued by e-mail for all payments received. There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received.

Postage and packaging

The goods ordered will be delivered to the address the client gives when placing the order.

Ewe Design will do its best to complete all orders within five business days of receiving proof approval or final details (eg birth announcement information).

Parcels are posted by first-class mail within UK or airmail outside UK. Royal Mail aims to deliver more than 90% of first-class letters by the next working day but this cannot be guaranteed.

Every effort shall be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after the order has been accepted. However, the supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery once posted. Ewe Design will ensure that stationery is packaged correctly.

If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under our control we will inform you as soon as possible and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you for delivery. If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods, no refund will be granted.

Postage and packaging rates within the UK mainland and Northern Ireland are correct at time of publication but are subject to any increase applied by the Royal Mail. Once orders are confirmed, the price will remain as at the time of ordering.

Cancellation

If an order is cancelled by the customer, for whatever reason, after payment has been made, a 30% refund can be made. This will be processed via Paypal, if that was how the order was paid for, or, alternatively, by cheque.

In the unlikely event of Ewe Design cancelling your order you will be informed as soon as possible and a full refund will be given.

Data Protection

Ewe Design uses customers’ personal data solely for the purpose of completing orders. Client data will not be passed on to any third party for marketing or any other purpose.

All reasonable precautions are taken to keep order details and payment secure but unless the supplier is negligent, the supplier will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by the client.

The supplier will not share client information with any other organisation.

Complaints

Should you not be satisfied with the service or the products received from Ewe Design please forward your concerns within seven days of receiving your stationery. If the goods supplied are damaged on delivery, the client should notify the supplier in writing (letter or email) within 24 hours. Ewe Design will make every effort to rectify the situation.

Ewe Design reserves the right to change and update these conditions from time to time.
